Join us for an afternoon of fun, games, and prizes. Please bring your new and unwrapped gifts for new mothers in need. All baby items are appreciated, but they especially need diapers for newborns, diaper wipes, baby shampoo, and soap.

For six months, people throughout our diocese responded to Pope Francis’ call to the Synod on Synodality by sharing their hopes, concerns, and dreams for the Catholic Church. We are still looking for people to commit to one hour on the first Friday of each month, April-December, to spend time at Eucharistic Adoration.  In order to keep this important ministry going, we need to have 2 people for each hour from 9:30 am-5:30 pm.  

If you missed the first 12 sessions and would like to jump in, please contact Clare Sloane ASAP to get caught up, prior to the start of the Fall Semester.

The Diocese of Scranton is offering the annual Mass in remembrance of victims of violent or tragic death. This Mass is offered for the families and friends of those who have died in tragedy, especially through murder, suicide, and accident.

Cardinal Luis Ladaria, S.J., Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith,  has written to  USCCB  President  Archbishop  José  Gomez concerning newer techniques for the disposition of last remains that are touted as more ecological alternatives to cremation.

If you knit, crochet, sew, or quilt, then this ministry is for you. TLC (Tender Loving Care) is an expanded version of the previous baby blanket ministry. Check out the details of this ministry reboot!

Please meet us before the 11:30 AM Mass in the reserved pews in the front of the Church to celebrate with your fellow graduates. Following the Mass, you, your family, and your classmates' families will go directly to the Parish Hall for a lite fare luncheon.

Remember and honor a Mother in your life, pick up a card in the church. The list of all Mothers will be placed on the Altar for Masses in the Month of May.

Sponsored by the Father Healy Chapter of the Knights of Columbus, volunteers are needed to help with the cemetery clean-up The work begins Saturday, April 2nd at 8:00 am, with a rain date set for April 9th at 8:00 am.

The Altar & Rosary Society is pleased to be hosting the 2nd annual Soup Supper on Friday, April 8, before Stations of the Cross, starting at 5:00 PM.

Tuesday Evenings at 6.30 pm During Lent at Queen of Peace Church, we pray the Rosary, accompanied by scripture readings, music [psalms & songs], and Decade prayers. We pray for: World peace, Peace within our country and communities, Peace of mind and heart, and for the good health of all.

For the next six weeks, 30 Diocese of Scranton priests are fighting hunger by cooking and Father Beck is one of them!

We are in need of a volunteer coordinator for our baby blanket ministry. The coordinator will receive the blankets, have them blessed, and bring them to the hospital.

It is Father Beck’s hope that in the near future Altar Servers may return to the Altar and we are also looking for children who would like to become Altar Servers in third grade and up. Please contact us if they are interested.
